Fecc welcomes Stockmeier-Group as new member

Brussels, 4 April 2011

The European Association of Chemical Distributors (Fecc) is pleased to announce that Stockmeier-Group has become the first new company member to join Fecc in 2011. Stockmeier-Group was founded 1920, is 100% family owned and is now driven in the third generation by Peter Stockmeier.

Beside the main business of chemical distribution which represents around 60% of the turnover, the Stockmeier-Group has various areas of own developed and produced products like Polyurethanes, Flavours, Paper- and Textilauxiliaries Cleaners for metalsurface, disinfection and automotive. Stockmeier has locations in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Russia and the USA. The Stockmeier-Group has an annual Turnorver of € 350 Mill, the group employs 650 people. Including minority interests the group reaches a turnover of around €800 Mill.
On the occasion Peter Stockmeier, owner and Managing Director at Stockmeier-Group commented, “We are really pleased that we are now an official member of Fecc. To be an Fecc member fits perfectly with our target to become an European wide enterprise. Fecc has build up a very good network in the chemical distribution market while at the same time providing a link with producers. We expect to have in Fecc a meeting point of all relevant market participants for the chemical distribution”.

With the acceptance of Stockmeier-Group as a new member, the Fecc now brings together a total of 37 company members, as well as 16 national associations and 12 associate and affiliated Members.
