Barcelonesa joins the growing membership of the European Association of Chemical distributors

The Barcelonesa Group joined the European Association of Chemical Distributors (Fecc) as the first new company member in 2010 after a successful 2009 which saw five new company members joining Fecc. Barcelonesa, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain specialises in the distribution of organic chemical products, chemical specialitites and raw materials.

With over 60 years in the chemical sector, Barcelonesa offers global solutions for the distributor section. By sourcing products from all over the world, Barcelonesa currently maintains a portfolio of over 500 products which are ready for immediate delivery primarily to the Iberian Peninsula, Southern Europe and Northern Africa.

“With a vibrant chemical distribution industry, bringing companies together under the Fecc flag to address the issues facing the industry is crucial. The inclusion of such a dynamic and forward thinking chemical distributor as Barcelonesa will enable the industry to continue to strengthen itself through the FECC membership,” said Hendrik Abma, Director General of Fecc.

With the acceptance of the Barcelonesa Group as a new member, the Fecc now brings together a total of 36 company members as well as 16 national associations, 14 associate and affiliated Members.
